500 companies selected across six categories… receives highest rating in "AI & Data Analytics"
Evaluated on financial performance, reputation, and online engagement… stands out in financial performance, demonstrating global competitiveness

[October 14, 2026] AITRICS, a medical artificial intelligence (AI) company, announced on October 14 that it has been named to the "World's Top HealthTech Companies of 2026," released by U.S. news magazine TIME and global data analytics firm Statista, and has received the highest rating, "Outstanding," in the "AI & Data Analytics" category.

TIME and Statista analyzed healthtech companies worldwide and selected 500 companies across six categories: ▲AI & Data Analytics ▲Diagnostics ▲Health Information & Management ▲Medical Devices & Wearables ▲Prevention ▲Telemedicine & Treatment. The evaluation combined three indicators: financial performance, reputation analysis, and online engagement. Selected companies are assigned one of three ratings, "Outstanding," "Very High," or "High," based on overall performance and individual indicator scores.

AITRICS stood out in the financial performance indicator, earning the highest rating of Outstanding. This indicator assesses a company's financial stability, growth potential, and operational efficiency based on factors such as revenue per employee and the amount of funding raised. AITRICS also received a strong score for online engagement, and its reputation analysis score exceeded the average of the selected companies.

The result is meaningful in that AITRICS has been recognized by global standards not only for developing medical AI technology but also for its commercial results and growth potential from adoption in real clinical settings.

Kwangjoon Kim, CEO of AITRICS, said, "Being named one of the world's top healthtech companies and receiving the highest rating is a global recognition of the results AITRICS has built in clinical settings and of our business growth potential. Moving forward, we will become a partner that protects patient safety in clinical settings overseas as well as in Korea."

AITRICS is a medical AI company that uses in-hospital electronic medical record (EMR) data to predict patient deterioration at an early stage. Its flagship solution, AITRICS-VC (VitalCare), predicts the risk of acute severe events such as death, ICU transfer, cardiac arrest, and sepsis among general ward patients, as well as the risk of death among ICU patients. It is currently in use at more than 200 medical institutions and approximately 60,000 beds in Korea.
